Day 30 – Boarder Control

Blog, Photos — By on October 21, 2012 10:29 am

We kicked off with 30k of wet sand (considerably easier than dry sand) followed by 60k of fairly good road. Alessia had one small drop in the sand but otherwise the new troup held it together. In case you have missed it we have Stelios, Sleazy Rider and Imelda joining for the next few weeks and Etna for the next 8 days together with Double D and Aimee.

Border Control. Complete chaos. People, cars and border police all over the place but only one window open!! Forms coming out the wood work….special insurance required, new bike tax required…a fine because my Swiss bike doesn’t have a tax disc!! But it is all part of the colour and lots of laughs!!! Oh and when we finally made it to the window they did finger print analysis…amazing…I am not sure that has made it to the UK yet!!!

End of part 1….now we get to sample Mozambican roads!!! J
