Farewell to Kane….
Acknowledgements — By Gobby on December 2, 2012 8:18 amAs we leave Botswana, we say farewell to our resident bushman, Kane. He has been a tremendous addition to our team.
Butch, Gobby and Double D particularly enjoyed his company and benefited from his considerable guiding skills during their stay at Kings Pool.
Biggles has also enjoyed his company during their long sojourns together in the Land Cruiser, pursuing the pack.
He is a larger than life character, who has entertained us enormously with his stories of the bush. None of us are going to forget his Vuka Vuka story.
He is very quick over 100 metres, but if he is seriously planning to run the Comrades next June, then much training is required!
We are going to miss him!
