Day Four

Blog, Photos — By on September 25, 2012 6:11 pm

Great whites galore….leaping completely out of the sea….being locked in the cage was an acquired taste, but when they slashed at the bait next to the cage they were so close you could touch them…that is if you wished to put your hand through the bars!!

Then we tripped down to the Southernmost tip of Africa on the bikes for another photoshoot. Thereafter was endless kilometres of fabulous gravel roads through the Overberg. There was a very special moment when we went on the last ‘pont’ in S Africa.

All 10 bikes and cruiser and then hand hauled across the river.

Settling in now with a cold beer in Swellendam.

    Hi there

We can’t believe you were so close to a great white shark…thats unreal, must have been a real adrenaline rush! We’re VERY glad to hear that you didn’t put your hands through the bars to give it a stroke…!It may have mis-read the signal for ‘more food’!!! How big would you say they were?

Did you take some underwater pictures?

Really enjoying all the blog posts….wish we were all there with you all. Sitting at a desk 9-5 reading your blogs is TOUGH to say the least!

    Lots of Love
