Day Fifteen – Bike Carnage
Blog, Photos — By Buspass on October 6, 2012 8:33 pmThe morning was a story of bike carnage.
Charles came quite a cropper but is fine thank God, but his bike is unrideable. It needs new front forks and the front wheel is square. There was also a bit of collateral damage…wing mirrors sheared off etc.
Nick has contorted the front rim on a protruding rock at some speed and a miracle that there was no puncture.
And finally Sam’s centre suspension has burst leaking oil all over the engine.
We now have 4 bikes on the trailer and need to be careful we don’t damage the Cruiser which is over its limit.
That was enough for one morning. J
Here are a couple of pics of the infamous Sani Pass. Note the six people trying to push the car!

Great to be able to catch up – it all sounds a bit hairy but pleased to know that you are all safe and not any injuries. Hope you get the bikes sorted out. Take care and travel safely. love Mom

Gosh Greggie! Fun and games out there. Trust you are ok though and not going too fast around those pass bends. Hairy stuff!!! See you in just over 2 weeks.
