First day in the saddle

Ok so how has it been?  Well I bust my laptop en route to SA so no photos today I’m afraid.  4 of us dropped our bikes -3 whilst stationary, 1 in the car park.  Not much damage  Chris – oh sorry didn’t I tell you Tim was riding your bike today.  It’s not too pretty but just about rideable.  You might like to think of it as an excuse to buy another one.  Adam lost your keys today Robin but has since found them.  Boy are we a  competent bunch but don’t you guys at home worry about a thing – we”ll be fine 🙂

Otherwise a fabulous day.  Down to Cape Point where we raced an ostrich along the coast and queued up with the coach parties to take photos.  Early bed tonight as tomorrow the real trip begins.  Zero the odometers and off we go.
