Farewell to TC
Blog — By Gobby on November 13, 2012 2:07 pmHow do you describe Tony, our specialist guide for the Mozambique and Zimbabwe legs of our journey?
Small, Round and Red are words that have been suggested.
Born in Zimbabwe, a qualified pilot and skilled 4×4 driver, TC (Top Cat) was just what casino was needed to take us on after The Philistine, a hard act to follow.
The perennially relaxed TC quickly fitted in to the tour. Who can forget his “guiding” in Maputo and Casa Lisa, our emergency B&B in Mozambique…..his highly skillful embarking and disembarking of the Land Cruiser and trailer on and off the Lake Kariba ferry.
Always happy, with that unique ability to make others laugh, even though they may be Zimbabwe policemen!
An all round top man……we miss him……!!
