Day Nine
Blog — By Buspass on September 30, 2012 9:30 amIts gone strangely quiet today….oh and the girls departed this morning.
Gobbys back on his own bike now….Imelda you can always get a new paint job back home.
We have just filled the jerry cans with fuel as we are off into the Baviaanskloof where the world has not yet reached.
In the meantime we are sampling the local apple pie…awesome to quote the locals.
A glorious ride in true wilderness with multiple river crossings. Most people now riding all day on the pegs rather than sitting….it feels more stable and secure. We finished the day with our usual jog but on this occasion we crossed leopard poo on the trail and lots of kudu tracks.
Dinner was out in the bush by an ancient cave where our ancestors had painted hunting scenes many thousands of years ago. J
