Day 53 – The Falls and Country no 5.

5.30 departure. 3 hour drive to exit the Hwange National Park on Landrovers. Bikes all intact at the entrance. 2 hours biking to the airport at Vic Falls to see George off. Then to the famous old colonial hotel in the town of Vic Falls. From there one party went to view one of the 7 wonders of the world, and 3 mad others went for a run! Another hours riding followed then the border post where I am currently writing. Soon we will enter Botswana. There is always lots of spare time at a border post in Africa! Slow progress is being made. Patience and good humour are a necessity, experience in form filling a distinct advantage. A hotel on the Chobe River tonight close to the famous Chobe National Park. Hot. J
