D100…..Goodbye.
Blog — By Buspass on December 30, 2012 2:01 pmIt is with very mixed emotions that I finally sign off. A small group of non bikers have crossed the unbikeable on motorbikes and have survived. We are now back in Europe.
Originally I had intended to paint a watercolour everyday and write a diary. Instead I have written a daily blog. I didn’t know what a blog was at this time last year. I certainly have never written for fun before. There have been more and more people reading the blog each day, so the writing has come with a certain amount of responsibility. I have tried to illustrate the story as well as I can and convey some of the emotions and experiences we have lived through. We have spent 100 consecutive days together. This is very rare in today’s world, even with family. We have had three broken bones, broken bikes, a broken trailer, we should have had two broken necks, and we have had one broken heart. Given time they will all mend and will probably be stronger for it. The adventures though, will stay with us for a lifetime. As will the friendships. J
